I would fully recommend this hotel for business people as well as families who would like to spend a nice holiday in the heart of the country. There is also a grocery store one block away that sells a lot of American produtcs. It is not as nice as a typical 4 star hotel such as Westin or Hyatt, but it is not bad by any means. It was clean and comfortable until the night club opened.
The entrance to the night club is outside and they blast loud music very late at night.
There is also a sports bar where we watched World Cup games with a variety of military men from different countries.
The military has a midnight curfew and after that most of the people were gone. This hotel has a small gym with two treadmills and a small rooftop pool.
It features a number of contemporary art galleries, an open-air amphitheatre, an exquisite fine dining restaurant, an exclusive spa, and a state-of-the-art Pilates & Dance Studio, the first of its kind in the Gulf region.A communication expert, historian, and writer, Mahama was a Member of Parliament from 1997 to 2009 and Minister of Communications from 1998 to 2001.He is a member of the National Democratic Congress. After periods of Portuguese and Persian control and invasions from the ruling dynasties of Saudi Arabia and Oman, Bahrain established itself as an independent nation during the 19th century period of British hegemony.Although the current twin cities of Manama and Muharraq appear to have been founded simultaneously in the 1800s, In the 20th century, Bahrain's oil wealth helped spur fast growth and in the 1990s a concerted diversification effort led to expansion in other industries and helped transform Manama into an important financial hub in the Middle East.Despite the discovery of the mounds, there is no significant evidence to suggest heavy urbanisation took place during the Dilmun era.
