Xorg 7 is fundamentally different because its previous few packages have now been much split to form around 100 new packages which constitute the server.

This has the advantage that small parts of the server can now be upgraded singly without having to recompile larger packages.

Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled !!!

For the last 2 years I have been successfully replacing Microsoft Windows Servers with GNU/Linux servers.

gentoox is a Gentoo based Linux distribution for XBOX. Taylor has made some excellent Gentoo artwork and a theme called Lila.

You must do the installation by starting your computer from a Live CD (A Linux environment with a collection of needed tools).

The whole process is described in detail in the Gentoo Linux Handbook.

This is time consuming, but not much harder than following a cookie recipe.

You compile all desired software optimized for your system.

Over the same 2 years, the spyware and virus problem on Microsoft Windows computers has grown to astronomical heights.
